Why First Fruits?

The Principle

Throughout Scripture, God’s people honored Him by giving the first and best of what they received. First Fruits is not about leftovers—it is about trust, gratitude, and putting God first. Every April, the Congregational Holiness Church continues this tradition through a single, focused season of giving.

The Need

This one offering funds the entire Mission USA department for the year. Without it, youth leadership development stops, pastoral support slows, and the training and resources our churches depend on disappear. The gap between what is needed and what has been given is real—and your generosity closes it.

The Invitation

When you give to First Fruits, you are not supporting a line item on a budget. You are investing in the leaders, churches, and communities that make up Mission USA. You are saying, “This mission matters, and I want to be part of it.” Every dollar has purpose. Every gift has impact.

What is First Fruits Offering?

First Fruits Offering is an annual April campaign where the Congregational Holiness Church family comes together to fund the Mission USA department for the entire year. It is a time-honored tradition of giving our best first.

Where does the money go?

Every dollar supports Mission USA operations including youth leadership development, pastoral support, leadership training, travel to strengthen churches, communication and resources, and essential administrative work that keeps the ministry moving.

Can my church give?

Churches are encouraged to participate in First Fruits. Your congregation can give online through Tithe.ly or mail a check. Many churches take a special offering during April.

Can I give monthly?

You can become a Monthly Partner and set up a recurring gift through our Tithe.ly giving page. Monthly giving provides stability for Mission USA throughout the year.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Gifts to Mission USA through the Congregational Holiness Church are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a giving receipt for your records.

How will I know the progress?

We update the progress thermometer on this page regularly throughout April. Follow along to see how close we are to reaching our $40,000 goal together.
