Leadership Qualification Course
The Leadership Qualification Course is a required training for anyone who wishes to serve on the General Executive Board, as a General Department Director, District CE Director, or as a District Presbytery member in the Congregational Holiness Church. (This list may be amended according to district policies.) According to the 2025-2029 Discipline, this course is designed to prepare leaders for denominational positions, to ensure they understand the heritage, present purpose, and future vision of the CHC, and to confirm their commitment to our church body .
In this course, leaders will walk through a wide range of vital topics from the official handbook, including:

Parliamentary Procedure – how to lead and participate in orderly, Christ-honoring business meetings.

Staff Members and Board Meetings – how to build healthy teams, conduct effective meetings, and create unity in leadership.

History and Heritage of the CHC – understanding our roots, our values, and the foundation of our denomination.

Church Conflict – biblical approaches to handling disagreements and maintaining peace.

Pastoring Pastors – guidance for denominational leaders in caring for and supporting local pastors.

Ministerial Burnout – recognizing signs and providing solutions for personal and pastoral health.

Church Finances – principles of stewardship, accountability, and proper church financial management.
This course is online only and includes 2.5 hours of video instruction, a detailed handbook, and a closed-book test. Participants must score at least 80% on the test to complete the course successfully. Upon passing, a certificate of completion is issued immediately.
