Becoming A Minister in the Congregational Holiness Church
The CHC Ministerial Internship Program (MIP) trains, educates and prepares men and women to be ministers, pastors, and leaders in the Congregational Holiness Church. The MIP has two courses of study, Local License, and Ordination License. The following information explains the steps of becoming a licensed minister with the CHC.
Steps To Become a CHC Licensed Minister
- Talk to your Senior Pastor about your desire to become licensed with the CHC.
- Download and fill out the MIP Application and speak to your District Superintendent. Along with your application, your consent to a background check is required to move forward in the process.
- Once approved by your district, you will begin the online MIP process. The MIP begins with the Local License track followed by Ordination. Each track is detailed below.
Local License
1-Year Program (On Average)
